5 Guilty Pleasures!
3/15/2016
We all have at least one guilty pleasure that we'd rather not confess or divulge to anyone because we're a little ashamed about it. We know it's not good for us, but we do it anyway because it makes us feel a little better when we're pressured, troubled, gloomy or trying to suppress a craving. I for one have a few of these habits that I have no plans on breaking anytime soon. Those little quirks that I know I shouldn’t like and don’t admit to liking but secretly have an undying passion for. Don't judge me. Hahaha
Coffee or Latte Fix
There's something about coffee that just makes me want to drink it every single day. So I do. An average of 3-4 cups of coffee I consume on a daily basis, I know it's a bit higher than most people. I need the caffeine boost to function well in work and help me deal with different types of patients. Sometimes, 2 cups of coffee are doable for me.
Long Baths (or showers)
I usually spend 30 minutes to 1 hour (or longer) shower time at night, before going to bed. It helps me calm down my senses and serves as an instant mood booster. This is also the perfect time to sort out my thoughts and contemplate about my life. It also helps me to have a good night sleep.
Movie / TV Time
Telly time is such a huge part of my routine. At the end of the day, when I get home from work, I love to watch the reruns of my favorite TV shows, while eating dinner and prepping for the next day. I usually watch reruns of FRIENDS or HIMYM and sometimes I go for a heavier approach like in How to Get Away with Murder.
Pajama Days
I've always loved to spend my days off, sitting around lazily in my jammies with nothing else to do. Most of the time I stay in bed, in my pjs, watching a movie with a cup of hot coffee and not leaving the house. No "shoulds", "have tos" are allowed. Sorry not sorry.
Ice creams
I love ice cream more than chocolate. Would prefer binge - eating a pint of coffee - flavored ice cream rather than eating a whole bar of Cadbury or any other brand of chocolate for that matter. It's not that I hate chocolates or something, it's just that the coldness and sweetness mixed together of an ice cream makes my heart all jolly. There is nothing better than a scoop of ice cream, not only on a hot day but also for mending a broken heart. I scream for ice cream! Hahaha. ♥
What are your guilty pleasures?
