To be grateful: Simply because there are lots of things to be grateful for.

To be strong: Because there are too many struggles that I'd have to overcome and need the courage to stand still.

To not give too much of myself: I gave too much of myself to other people, I deserve greater things, I know I deserve more.

To forgive myself for the "thing" I'm still holding onto: The longer I held onto that same "thing", the longer I am keeping myself miserable, hurt and sad. And I need to forgive myself for that.

To learn how to (finally) let go: I realized that things happen for a reason. There are people we need to cut out of our lives (even though they meant the world to you) not because you need to, but you have to, to make way for new people that's coming.

To appreciate: There are tons of people who showered me with their love this past year and I failed to appreciate their efforts and kindness. Sobrang naappreciate ko lahat ng mga bagay na ginawa ninyo para sakin.

To fight my battle fittingly: Because of my ups and downs, and the people who betrayed me. I don't want to fight all the time, but this has become my boost to not let my guard down and not give up.

To choose who to trust: There are lots of people who will show their true colors as time goes by, eventually, they will try to bring you down. But I did not let them win, I learned to be cautious, thanks to them.

To endure sickness: Even though I don't feel well, I still have to go to work and fulfill my duties as a MedTech. Kahit na sobrang sama o bigat ng pakiramdam mo, kahit pa sobrang taas na ng lagnat mo, kailangan mo pa din pumasok para sa pasyente. #ParaSaPasyente

To learn to say "NO": There are times that you have to say NO not because you really don't want to but you have to. May mga bagay na dapat hindian at may mga bagay na dapat oo-han. You just need to learn the pros and cons of the decision you have to make and it should always be for the GOOD benefit of others and especially yours.

To learn how to love what you can't change: I have a lot of things in my life that I can't possibly change even if I want to. I just have to accept the fact that it happened and keep moving forward. Lagi mong iisipin na may plano ang Diyos para sa iyo. You just have to believe and trust His timing.

    Hello everyone!

I am now loafing around in my room with my lappie and coffee on the side. It’s been five months since the last time I posted here on my blog. I missed blogging so much and it feels good to write again. I’ve been busy with school works, thesis proposal, finishing internship requirements with tons of exams and quizzes alongside of it. (Yeah, the perks of being a medical technology student) Lots of things and changes happened in my life, schedules been crazy, but I’m finally feeling like me again. Nobody or nothing holding me back, I can just be myself.

I have lots of pending posts to share and I hope I can finish it on time so that I can post it right away. I am a bit sad because I missed a lot of events that I wasn’t able to attend to, like the BDJ Rendezvous and BDJ Beauty Social. Plus, I will be starting my clinical internship this April and I am looking forward to meet new friends and to experience great things that will help me grow as a person and improve my talents and skills related to my chosen career. I will be having hospital duties 6 days a week which includes 16 hours hospital duty during the night and a 5 hour seminar class, because of that I may not be able to attend future events and workshops. Bummer L

Also, I’ve been revamping my site for a few days now so expect there will be a few changes here in my humble abode. This time, I will not only write about beauty and fashion but also include about my travels, foods that I tried in a certain resto, product reviews (not related to beauty & fashion) and my everyday ramblings.

On the other hand, I also have a new lifestyle blog called “Keeping up with Yssa” (alyssafrancisco.wordpress.com), where I will be writing random posts, from my daily routines, room organization  / decoration ideas up to the most bizarre experiences that I have, and things like that.

I'll try to finish fixing my other blog so that I can start writing and posting things for you guys to read. :)
    Back to my main blog, here is the list of the things that’s been on hiatus and I will try to post all of them as soon as possible since I’m in a 3 week vacation before my internship starts;

          1)      I’m back to blogging! (the one that you’re reading right now, hehe)
          2)      All the feels
          3)      #OOTD: Thesis Defense Attire
          4)       #OOTD: Saturdate with Bully buddies
          5)      Carnival Schmarnival

I will try to keep this blog and my other blog more updated now, promise! I hope I can find time to write despite of my busy schedule starting this “summer” (My kind of summer? It includes Hospital duties, Seminar, Reviews) Hahaha.

Thanks for reading, till my next post. J

PS.  Selfies in the laboratory. (Sorry for my bushy brows HAHA)

My blog is all about fashion and beauty. I didn't make this blog to brag about the things that I have or the things and pictures that I will post in any way. All the stuffs that I will post in here are purchased by my own money. This is only for pure fun and I want to serve as an inspiration to all the young ladies out there, which also has a love for fashion. I am no fashion expert (I’m still looking for fashionspirations) but I hope that my posts will inspire you and also help you to formulate new fashion ideas. Don’t be afraid to try new things, that way you will discover new styles that will suit you perfectly. Fashion should never be taken TOO seriously. Be natural. It should always be fun and help you feel good about yourself.
    Enjoy reading! J
